Most of these we will obtain as children and they will likely slow down as we age. The fact remains that you will still encounter bruises here and there. Is there treatment for bruises?</p>
<p>Truth be told, there is little that you can do to actually stop a bruise once on has been set into motion. The only real thing that you can do in terms of treatment is to lessen the severity of that bruise, or to lessen the amount of time that same bruise wants to stick around. You see, bruises are just an example of our body&#8217;s defenses towards blatant attack. To understand how to treat them, you should understand what one really is.</p>
<p>Bruises and contusions are the same thing for starters. When you bruise, it means that through some action you have injured sensitive soft tissue under your skin. This tissue, on impact allows some capillaries and veins to break, which consequently spill out red blood cells. These cells pool in the vicinity, which through the skin, appears black and blue to the naked eye.</p>
<p>There are no treatments for bruising as far as a hospital is concerned. Basically, the quicker you yourself can do something about the bruise, the better off the situation will be. Meaning, that if you bump your arm badly, to the point where you can suspect a bruise is soon to follow, you should see to it immediately rather than waiting. Some of the things that you can do are listed below.</p>
<p>Perhaps the most effective method of containing a bruise is through the use of a cold compress. Usually, this means putting some ice into a bag, or using a package of frozen vegetables. One key point to remember though, you should always wrap up the icy remedy, as it is not advised to leave ice or the like in direct contact with your skin for extended periods of time.</p>
<p>Once you have the compress together, you should hold it over the area where your bruise is forming for up to 30 minutes. This will help your body react better towards repairing the problem, and will prevent any swelling that might be trying to occur as a result of the incident. Likely, you will have to deal with some swelling, if you anticipate a bruise.</p>
<p>If the bruise is evident in a large area of your foot or leg, you will find that elevating the impacted leg for up to 24 hours after the injury will help. This will also allow your body to respond quicker to the occurrence and decrease the severity of the resulting bruise. You will also find that it will decrease the length of time you have the bruise as well.</p>
<p>You see, there is not a whole lot you can do in terms of treatment for bruises. Taking some ibuprofen or some similar strength pain reliever can ease the likely pain that is coupling with your bruising. The only other thing you can do is to wait.</p>

<p>Many of us put off exercising by saying things like, tomorrow I&#8217;ll <a href="http://asinsindhi.com/recommendsthis" style=""  rel="nofollow" onmouseover="self.status='http://asinsindhi.com/recommendsthis';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">exercise</a>, next week I&#8217;ll start, next month, next year, and then it never happens. The best time to start is now, today, right this very moment.</p>
<p>Quit putting off your health. You are only cheating yourself and are only hurting yourself. &#8220;Someday&#8221; never comes. Today is the day to start making healthier decisions. There is no on/off switch, you don&#8217;t automatically become healthy and fit, it is a gradual process that consists of making more healthy decisions rather than unhealthy.</p>
<p>You can start making healthier decisions right this very moment. Make it a goal that from this point on you are going to begin to make better decisions about your health.</p>
<p>From this point on you can make the decision to incorporate exercise into your schedule. There is no better time like the present to begin to change. If you delay, you are only hurting yourself.</p>
<p>It takes time to establish a habit. The idea is to continue to exercise and eat healthy, and if you fall off the horse for a day, instead of falling back to your old ways, jump back on the horse and keep trotting along. Don&#8217;t let a few days of unhealthy choices keep you from continuing your course. Stay on your journey towards better health and keep pushing forward, because the journey never ends.</p>

Not having enough nutrients may also impede your lower body workout.</p>
<p>The problem becomes psychological because a lot of people when they hear the word &#8220;diet&#8221; they automatically think of negative things. They feel depressed that they can&#8217;t have their favorite dishes. Then they lose focus doing their lower body workouts. That is why giving in from time to time is not so bad.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t worry about losing control and eventually giving up on your diet. Remember those slim thighs. And before you start your diet (or lower body workout) tell yourself that it&#8217;s okay to cheat.</p>
<p>What you should not do, though, is completely eradicate all the delicious foods, all those that make you feel better, in your diet. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>We all have fat in places that we don&#8217;t want it. Typically this is around the mid area, such as the stomach, side of body and lower back just above the trouser line. We can not choose where fat gets deposited, this is all down to genetics. Although it is believed that fat gathers around the mid section to give extra protection to the vital organs. To help shift the fat in this area, we can all watch what we eat and do some exercises to help tone up. </p>
<p>When exercising to get rid of love handles, the muscles that need concentrating on the most are, the obliques and abdominal muscles. Here are some simple exercises that you can do at home that will work these muscles.</p>
<p>Seated russian twist &#8211; Sit on the floor with your feet together and knees bent. Place your hands in front of your stomach and keep them together. Lean back until you feel like your abdominal muscles are having to work to keep you in that position then slowly rotate from side to side. Focus on rotating the whole of your upper body.</p>
<p>Side plank &#8211; Lie on your side then lift your body off the ground, using your forearm that is nearest the ground. Keep your hips in line with the rest of your body and make sure they do not dip as this will not work your stomach muscles correctly. Hold each side for 30 seconds.</p>
<p>Slow bicycles &#8211; This exercises is like riding a bike but you are lying on your back. But your are doing this much slower. Place your hands behind your head like you would do when you are doing a sit-up. When your leg comes up to your stomach, reach over with your opposite elbow and feel the pull across your stomach. Repeat the opposite way. </p>
<p>If you find these not challenging enough then you should considered using free weights if you don&#8217;t already. This is the ultimate in core exercises as heavy free weights need at stabilizing more, and your core muscles do this. If you find free weights to challenging then think about doing stomach exercises with a swiss ball or resistance bands. </p>

<p>4) Listen to some Music or an Audio Book on your walk. This will make the time go quicker and keep your mind on something you enjoy listening to.</p>
<p>6) Sign up for a Yoga or Pilates Class. These workouts are low impact and won&#8217;t leave you sweaty and sore.</p>
<p>6) Start Dance Lessons with your Partner. Dancing is very active, fun and romantic. The choice for different dance types is massive, you will find a dance type you enjoy.</p>
<p>7) Go for a Swim. Swimming makes for some great exercise. It is low impact and easy on your joints. Start by swimming a few laps, or play in the pool with your kids.</p>
<p>8)Bike Ride with the family. Get the bike out and go with the family on a mini adventure.</p>
<p>9)Hikeing. Look for hiking trails in your local area and get out there. Start with some easy trails and work up to some longer or steeper trails.</p>
<p>Remember find something you enjoy, so that you will stick with it. Get out there and get moving there are no excuses.</p>

Some media treated his suggestion with due respect. Other media outlets derided him, suggesting that the former rock star was living in his hippy past.</p>
<p>None of the media that covered the story did it in any depth. If they had taken him a little more seriously and considered the facts, they would have understood just how much sense he made. If you look at the issue square in the eye from a vegetarian&#8217;s standpoint, you will see why they so passionately believe in it.</p>
<p>You might wonder what giving up meat has to do with the environment. There are whole books devoted to facts about the meat processing industry. One of the points made is that raising beef is a terribly inefficient use of arable land. The same amount of land that it takes to satisfy America&#8217;s voracious appetite for meat could be put to far better use producing soy products, for instance.</p>
<p>If you have a very strong stomach, pay a visit to a meat processing plant. These are all located far away from large populations for a reason. They smell so bad, they literally make people sick. Those who are unfortunate enough to have to work in the plants or live nearby them have a higher than average incidence of a number of health complaints.</p>
<p>Unless you are a hardened killer, you will be shocked by what you see inside the meat processing plant. To call it inhumane is putting it mildly. While the killing process itself is not necessarily an environmental issue, it is a moral one. It is doubtful that you will reach for a shrink-wrapped sirloin steak quite so quickly after you have seen what happened at the slaughterhouse. You are more likely to turn away and go to the vegetable department and start your vegetarian diet!</p>
<p>Bear in mind that the cattle industry wants you to buy their product and will tell you anything to get you to buy it. They will tell you that you need the protein. Yes, you do need a certain amount of protein in your diet, but not that much protein and not that kind of protein. While a strong argument can be made for an occasional serving of meat, so many consume far too much and it is a proven contributor to innumerable diseases.</p>

While some do go back to occasional servings of meat, they almost never go back to consuming it in large quantities. Why should they? They feel healthier and happier than they did before.</p>

Hindus and many Buddhists have been vegetarians for millennia and it has worked for them. In fact, it seems like the only ones who advocate a high meat diet are the cattle industry lobbyists!</p>
